On the island of Evvia, the most ardent advocates of the area’s culinary tradition are tyropitari fried cheese hand pies and tiganopsomo frybread. Both are irresistibly delicious but tradition is only one of the many ingredients that have made these treats so wildly popular.
When Agianniotiko, the Evvia-based traditional pastry workshop that makes such melt-in-the-mouth products talked to us, we looked into their branding needs and designed a logo that would definitely express the traditional way they make their goods but would do so from a fresh, contemporary angle.
As a result, we used clean-cut, unpretentious lines for the design in a color tone that would be warm and evocative, yet neutral. The logo’s font with its rustic brushstrokes reminiscent of times gone by was the finishing touch which brought the concept’s elements together.
